STUD RAMS AT BURBRINK FAMILY FARMS!

Here is a list of the current Stud Rams at Burbrink Family Farms. We have a show, registered, and commercial flock of Katahdins and have the diverse ram power to meet the needs of each of these flocks individually. We use all registered Katahdin rams on our farm.
STUD RAMS

BMB 2204R MOMENTUM
RR
RIV 916 High Genes x EHJ 818 Sedalia

**2023 NAILE GRAND CHAMPION RAM!**
2022 NAILE Reserve Grand Champion Ram as a Feb Lamb.
The best son we kept out of RIV 916 High Genes and out of EHJ 818 Sedalia (twin sister to EHJ 817 Kansas Chrome). We have several lambs on the ground and to say the least we are BIG on Momentum.

Frozen Semen Available: Text Brayden

RIV 975 ROCK N' ROLL
RR
RIV 897 (13) New Genes x RIV 786

We needed a shot of thickness and bone and we've definitely got it with Rock N' Roll! Great tempered ram, his first set of lambs have been impressive.

RIV 916 HIGH GENES
1/2 Maternal Brother to RIV 780 LONG GENES
RR
RIV 862 x RIV 718 (30)

We got the opportunity to breed with this tremendous ram for spring 2022 lambs. He is the most consistent breeding ram I have bred with. He adds pattern to any sheep. Now owned by Dyer Family Katahdins. We have frozen semen and continue to use it!

RIV 811 DOC HOLIDAY
RR
DOC P1498 x RIV 744 FANCY

This guy is the biggest Katahdin ram I have seen to date! Out of Riviera's infamous FANCY ewe. He will add size, pounds, and structure to our flock.

JCB 1901R HAUTE SHOT
RR
TRB 1120 Code Red x JCB 1508

This ram goes back to our best producing ewe line. Extra stout with a great set of feet and legs. We think he'll cross great with our 'Flashier' ewes!

Gone too soon... The few females we've got out of him will never leave the farm!

2017 NAILE Reserve Grand Champion Ram as an April Lamb. Mike Nelsh & I had the opportunity to purchase this ram back from Mike Jones and we are sure glad we did. He will retire on this farm as we know he will make a lasting impact in the Katahdin breed. Owned jointly with Riviera Katahdins, Mike & Leslie Nelsh.
